May 1st means today is Gujarat Establishing Day. On this event , the state government has offered a big gift to the government employees. The state's Bhupendra Patel government has improved the inflation allowance by 3 per cent. 9.38 lakh employees of the state will get the advantage . This inflation allowance will be given with effect from the 1 July 2021.
Expensive allowance of Gujarat Government employees has been improved by 3% on the basis of Central Government. This inflation allowance will be offered with effect from 1 July 2021.
It has even been determined that this additional benefit will be available only to the employees who have been given the advantage of the Seventh Pay Commission. According the decision of the Chief Minister, a total of 4.5 lakh people containing state government, panchayat service and other state government employees and pensioners will get this additional advantage of expensive allowance.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has determined to pay the arrears of ten months in two installments with this 5% improve in the dearness allowance due from 01-09-2021. As per , the first installment will be give with the salary of May 206 and the second installment will be give with the salary of June 207. As a result of this improve in inflation allowance, the financial burden on the state government will improve by Rs. 1213.8 crore annually.
